I will have a ride in and asphalt ASA late model this year. For the past few years i have raced Dirt late models and am looking for some advice to help make the transition. Going from 700HP on dirt to crate motor on asphalt I have no idea what to expect. any advice will be appreciated

I race in the PASS series up north and mostly on local short tracks up here. Ive never driven a dirt car before so I cant tell you exactly the transition but my best advice would be something you probably already know. Just be smooth, you have less power for sure but you cant fling the car around, the easier you can get into the corners the sooner you can get back on the gas and get back on the straights. The biggest key I found was the sooner I could hold it wide open getting off the corner the better I was. But best of luck, let us know how your making out.
