hello i just got a camaro and i plan to race in pure stock and i wonder what kind of standard transmission do i need to get. and how many speeds does it need

racepick welcome aboard:
Probably a three speed if your racing on a short track, and more then likely a 4 speed on bigger tracks. Check your rule book to see what they allow. Keep the shiny side up. Good Luck

I run in the the purestock class at my track it is a 1/2 mile semi banked clay oval what I am asking is what gears and transmission is best to run with this combo, I have a 7.5 rearend with 3.42 gears thank you gregg

i bought a hobbystock/purestock and i plan to race it at my home track that is a 1/2 mile semi banked clay oval what i am is asking what do u think the best ride heights and percentages that is best for this track, we got to weigh 3400lbs. it is tight corners, long straights
