At age 17, Dalton Baldwin wins the 2011 Open Wheel Modified Championship at Desoto Super Speedway! Dalton ended the year with his 4th win of the season on Saturday November 5th, which was the most wins in the series along with 8 top 3s and 10 top 5s.
After winning Rookie of the Year honors in the Open Wheel Modifieds at Desoto last year and finishing 3rd in points, the young driver set his sights on the 2011 Championship! Mentored by his father and 3-time Open Wheel Modified Champion driver, Bobby Baldwin, Dalton exceeded the expectations of many and clinched the series championship.
Dalton has his sights set on The World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing in February at New Smyrna Speedway and is currently seeking partners to join the ride!
