Spring in front of rearend.help.

Ok so i am runing a asphalt sportsman with big springs and 3 link the car owner has the left rear spring in front of the rearend and the right side behind. Will this work? We can not make the car go no matter what we change and thats all that is left and owner is stuck on it. Can someone please help me on this. will it work and if so what is the tricks to this setup.. Thanks

New to this forum, and not much action here! And this post is quite old, but I'll try and help out with some input. I have seen successful cars with staggered springs(like yours),and cars with both behind the axle. Both can be fast.
So to answer your first question: yes it can work.
Why it does not work now? Hard to say not knowing all the details. If you can share more info we can work on it.
