Car Runs Really Good, I Took It Out On The Road And Took It Up and Down The Road Pulled Back In Driveway Tried To Start It And It wouldnt Start it Turns Over And It Would Bind Up And Back Fire, Took The spark Plug out covered in gas,took plugs and cleaned them, tried to start it still same thing, waited next day fired right up drove it around then loaded it on the trailer took it up to race track took it around the track everything fine, bought it back in the pits let it sit went to fired it up for the heat races did same thing, we left the track at 7 got home about 8 went to start it and it started right up, was told maybe something in the dis making it cross fire and not starting and when i turn key on it flood's it?

If you still have the inst. cluster you can try to see what codes it it throwing. If not then I would look at the signal that is going to the injectors. They can only let fuel in if the ecm is calling for it. Maybe the ecm is getting a signal from the distrib. that the engine is cranking ( the crank senser is inside the distrib). So, you need to find out where the signal for fuel is coming from. In the mean time until you can find why it is flooding. Pull the battery cable as soon as you shut it down and then see it it is still flooding. This will tell you if it is the fuel injectors leaking or if it is the ecm telling it to fuel after you turn it off.
