$500 Crap Can Racing debutting on Oval Tracks now??? Chump Car??

I've been following this $500 endurance crap can racing phenomenon this last year and now I see they're venturing out to the circle track scene in 2011 at Montgomery Speedway and at North Wilkesboro. Has anyone personally experienced this ChumpCar World Series (www.ChumpCar.com) that was featured in Circle Track this last fall? http://www.circletrack.com/ultimateracing/ctrp_1010_1991_honda_accord_chumpcar_racing/index.html

We're considering giving this a test drive and welcome any advice.  

Looks like fun destroying a bunch of rice rockets. There is another simular series not sure of the name They have several races one of them "24 hrs of LEMONS" simular format, I think they are all road courses though. The safty equipment & tires are the only decent parts on the cars or the judges will penalize you laps for anything they deem over valued. There are some posts on Hot Rod, Car Craft or Popular Hot Rodding forums, I don't remember which. The authur is "wrp" he wrote a couple of threads on it, he loves it.  3836bbl/Budnicks
