So I caught wind of NASCAR redoing the points system recently and not allowing cup drivers to go to Nationwide and dominate because they can't pull the right moves up at the top to get the prize? I think this is a great move if its true!
This might give the 'big boys' who tend to complain to keep their mouth shut and actually accept they have to work harder to achieve the top spot. Aynone have more information on this?

its a good plan, but, the cup guys who do run the nationwide will be taking points away from the regulars.
If a cup guy wins, and a nationwide guy finishes 2nd, the nationwide driver will only get the 2nd place points and money. Its still going to hurt the smaller teams, and not really solve the issue.
IMO, the cup guys should stick to the cup series, that's what they worked for.

Yes, I second that. It should be like the short tracks (not sure how many do this) around the U.S., if you move up a racing class you can't go back to anything lower.
