what would make two pistons on a new motor break, it only had bout 1 hr run time on it, we drove it 3-4 laps bout 4000 rpms in hot laps  on a circle dirt track It hasn't even been raced.

after the careful tear down and examination...

exactly what other parts broke

can you describe the breakage???  shattered pistons...  cracked pistons... scuffed pistons...

was the car ever out of your sight... or control... where someone could have ...   shall we say...  exerted excessive pressure on the loud pedal...

who hung the pistons...  floating pin...   pressed pin...  rod heater used or pressed in ???

forged, hyper or claimers???      if the hyper or claimers..  was the box damaged when you received it from the delivery service tossing the box or it falling off a shelf inside the truck??
decades ago... it took 4 times to ship a set of pistons and liners down under..

did you read the head gaskets when you pulled the heads looking for improper sealing where coolant could have leaked into the cylinders??

any chance of a blown power valve or a needle and seat leaking fuel into the intake and hydro locking the pistons...

just my 2 cents...
