i am building a 79 monte for a 3/8 mile dirt track... i got a 350 thats somewhat souped up... i also have the stock motor and i have a 305 iroc z motor...on trannys i have a 2 speed powerglide... and the stock one (pan says metric...hydraulic division of gmc)<<---- th 350??????????...on rear ends i have ford 9 inch and the stock gm one... what combination and what rearend gear should i use... would like to stay in the pure stock bomber class... i was thinking the 350 with 2 speed powerglid with ford 9 inch...i dont know what rear end gear to put with that... 350 has decent cam thanks in advance for your input
