Help,
i race a 84 mustang on a dirt track.built the car from the ground up. only issue im having now is the ignition box getting hot and retarding the timing. If i use a new moduale it will quit after 2 to 3 minutes...if i use an old school moduale out of anything ford it will run but again retards the timing. I have rechecked the wiring and everything is where it is suppopsed to be...(of course i'm no electrician). My question is this....what could be getting the igntion moduale that hot?
