raising the left rear and/or right front should give you more cross. changing spring splits is where you can really pick up some cross weight. if you stiffen up that right front a little that should help get some bite. tire staggers also effect your percentages. As far as your total weight goes, normally you want that car around 10 lbs over your min allowed weight when you are empty(fuel) with the driver in it.  You need to do this so if there is 40 caution laps and you burn up ton fuel you don't come in under weight no matter what. It takes time and scales really help if you have access to a set. hope this helps

I am on a team that also runs an open rear. Most of the info I have found does not apply to open rear, so it is incorrect info that you (and I) have been getting.

We have been dealing with the same problem. We have discovered some things that seam to work but need more testing.
If you are interested in trading some info we can help each other.

We run a completley different set up. Stiffer fronts and softer rears, and more X weight than you on a G body car. It is my understanding that softer front and stiffer rears is another set up that works well but we have not tried it. The complete combination of every thing has to be right.

With what you have I would try a 250 lb L/R spring and a 225 R/R spring. scale it and keep the X wt the same and adjust from there monitoring tire temps. Is your car a G body? what type of track, what tire pressures?

I am sure your left rear is too soft and right rear too stiff.
X wt may need to come up but not sure.
.
I would like to try something close to what you have.
I could use your help and I am sure I could also help you.

80 mc bite off the corners seems to be better with the stiffer rr spring our times on our track are 15.15 witch puts us in the middle  but some run 14.80 we dont have a power problum just bite think outhers have some type of locker but must have open diff
