Hi anyone out there ever try to put a set of corvette manifolds in a metric chassis? What modifacations are necessary?

there should be none, just need to run the exaust pipe down and back. If you can, run a set of tru-flow manifold, they're the ram horn design (like the corvette), but flow like headers, unless your rules say stock manifolds.

well if your engine is in or close to the stock location the cross member needs some serious work in order to get an exhaust pipe attached to the manifolds. You can either notch it or cut the entire back out of the cross member plate it and reinforce it. including r&i the engine I have 16 hours in it.  If the engine was set back three inches or so you would be good to go.  But my rules don't allow engine set back or after market manifolds.  Make sure it is legal if anyone out there decides to do this, it is not a little job.
