1991 civic fwd dirt track carb problem

i have a stock d15b7 engine with a stock intake manifold ,made adapter plate to fit my carb
this is my carb  new from ebay Item number:320554528855 !example !
if you copy this number on ebay.ca you will see it mine is new
next to the gas inlet there is a wire need to be connected ,,i never did ,,do not no what it is  for in front there is the big pipe to it!!
FORD 78 79 PINTO  2.3L 4cyl engine

2bbl carb

chock is remove no need for it, all my vaccum line is connected my intake manifold all
other air or inlet ,i do not need all plug with jb weld

my first race today did not go well
try to explain the problem sorry because i am french !!
engine spec...
no ecu computer was remove all wire cut off ,procomp 6al like the same as msd
external coil ,7 lbs aluminum flywheel ,electric fuel pump

first gear power is there,, when shift in second gear no more power !!we run in 2 gear ,,,
i no is the carb is doing this,, do not no what black smoke going out of exhaust pipe when throttle in neutral,, my air needle almost close ,,there is another screw in back not sure what is that one is for to,,oil pressure good

last thing is i get the old dpmfi

where i connected the tps sensor and other wire i need because i have remove everything from car what do i need to connect all that with out the ecu to run the dpmfi set up  

any body please  

i just added my stock dpgm-fi back on need to no where and how to run injector wire no more ecu on it i need 12v how to wire this
