Great Legends Results at Newport (TN) Speedway for 6-12-10

Thunder Legends had an exciting race at Newport (TN) Speedway on Saturday night.  Chris McKinney, 2009 Champion, took the pole.  Hayden Woods had his best-ever qualifying position of second.  Father/son team of Rick and Taylor Coffman qualified 3rd and 4th with Brian Tinker rounding out the top five.

Chris started and finished in the first position but behind him the racing was tight.  Rick and Taylor raced bumper to bumper for the whole race giving the fans a great show.  Brian took advantage of a late race spin to deliver his best finish this year of fourth with Hayden charging back to a fifth place finish.
