i remeber seeing intake gaskets with house screen to help with fuel droplet size there fore better burn has anybody seen these and or used them? do they increase power? has anyone dynoed these?

I have talk to a few people who tried these type of screen intake gaskets and each of the removed them because, they decreased overall performance. They do help improve fuel mileage at low rpms but, at high rpms they block to much air flow. Using them is like switching from a 750cfm carb to a 200cfm or smaller carb when it comes to performnce.
