which cars would you recommend for a 4/10th paved oval if you had to start from scratch in 4 cyl pure stock ??

If they allow dohc cars, a 2nd gen escort gt would be a good car.

start with dohc cars, preferably ones with some suspension adjustments... after that stick to automatic is the question... you can control gearing more with a stick and a manual transmission is quite a bit lighter
