Dose any body know if they make a race wheel for a stock cougar/Thunderbird? 5/108
also what would be the best year close to stock 302 to run?

I haven't seen any, my buddy runs a 89-96 t-bird and he used front bearings off a 90's mustang, and redrilled the rear rotor/hub, also taurus steel wheels will work, or maybe a steel uni-lug...
as far as a 302 you have tons of options...what the rules for your class? i'm running a 90's roller block with an aftermarket .450 lift cam, heads e7 are ok, pick up a ford performance interchange book, they have casting numbers, port size, valve size. if you're looking to just "throw one in" i'd say '85 mustang, still carbbed egr stlye aluminum intake, duraspark, flat tappet cam. i could go on forever
