Hi,I run a 78 Monte in a "Charger" class, 305 chevy, 215/70/15 tires, 2 bbl rochester, 3.42 gear with a auburn limited slip, Pro street stock shocks, spring rates are 800#LF,200#LR,1200#RF,175#RR,2" back spaced Bart wheels, on a .455 mile asphalt 12* banking in the corners. The car turns really well on entry, fair in the center, loose getting on the gas on exit. How far off on these basics am I ? Any info greatly appreciated.

Typically the max front spring rate split is 200# (for stock type cars.) I am assuming you can't change suspension mounting points. Try lowering the front spring rate split, maybe down to 200#, or lower if a larger sway bar is used, and slightly increase the rear spring rate split. These cars tend to be difficult to get the mid-turn push out of it. Good Luck!!

Slack33 is correct, you have way too much spring split in the front.  You are very tight in the center, which is causing you to be loose on exit.  The tight in the center is because of the excessive spring split.  You should close the front spring gap by at least 200#, and maybe more.
