We are trying to put a b-mod together for a friend and we have a th350 tranny we can use.  Both of our other cars run a powerglide.  Rear ends are 5.67.  Looks like the th350 has the same ratio in 3rd as the powerglides in 2nd.  Can the th350 be raced in 3rd, or does it need to be in 2nd?  Reason for asking is we have another 5.67, but won't have the right rear gear if we use the 1.5ratio 2nd gear in th350.  I don't know how strong the th350 is, but remember the motors are only 9:1...ish

Yes you can use the th350 and as long as its is decent shap it will work stand up fine. its just heavier.  run it in 3rd or D and you are good to go.

We run a 350 turbo in our b stock. i will find out what the rear gears are for you. it seems to do pretty good if we can make enough power to out run WILDFIRE!
