Ok so im new here and honestly im not a circle track guy but i often refer to these pages because CT goes light years beyond other mags in its tech sections. 90 percent of that info actually translates to a road race setup. so my question is what do yall see as the main diffrences between the two styles of racing

I follow road racing to try to get new ideals for my oval track car.In road racing the car seem to be setup by the laws of physics then the driver goes out and adjusts to all the different corners. In oval track you are trying to give the driver a certain " feel" alot of the time.

This isn't a question to be answered in a quick clip.  All though when you look at the two types of racing you have to first realise its all about the money no matter what type of racing you are doing.

With that said, Circle Track racing is always going to be the best venue to generate revenue.  Until road racing can figure out a way to get fans to the track it will always struggle in the USA.  Problem is road racing is not very fan friendly, you have a hard time keeping track of the cars going in and out of view constantly. Its much eaiser and most prefer to watch those races on TV and not at the track.

Obviously not a problem with circle track racing.  Second You just don't need a ton of property to put up a circle track.  Fans and sponsors will always see that as an advantage over road racing.  And no one can race without sponsors or fans.  You can go to the track and watch the entire race not just part of it.  If Im not mistaken road racing by nature is more expensive on average for a team owner than racing on an oval.

Bottom line is I personally look at everything as an investment even my hobbies.  You are always better off investing in a hobbie that has the most upside. You never know if that hobbie might turn into a profit center.  I can't think of a better way to make a living than making it doing something you consider to be Playtime.  Can you?
