We got a good deal on a dirt modified, however we are trying to convert it to compete locally on asphalt tracks. It came complete with leaf spring rear suspension with a lift bar and metric front clip. Does anybody have any experience running paved track leaf spring cars? The plan so far is converting to a mono-leaf with coil-overs. Are we on the right track or should we ditch the leafs all together and re-fabricate to a 3 link setup? Just like everybody, it all comes down to the doller so keeping the car as is (except for the mono-leaf idea) would be much easier, and tempting just to try for a season. 1/4 mile semi-banked tracks. Any input would be great, thanks.
