New (REAL) Stock Class for Dirt Track

I would like to see a NEW stock class get started here in Northwest Louisiana. Boothill Speedway has always been my favorite track because I started racing there when I was 16 years old. Mr. Doyle Wise was the owner at that time and he had a great racing program every saturday night. Every time a new streetcar class is started , it's only a matter of time before somebody is allowed to bend the rules a little bit and then , it's like a slow leak in a car tire. In just a few short months , and the class has got completely out of hand with all kinds of racing crap being allowed to be put on the stock cars. I know it's got to be hard to enforce for the track owners maybe but , kids need a cheap ,clean , and safe hobby to get into these days and a bone stock car is a good thing for the whole family. There are risk in any car racing ,(I KNOW) but , if a car's rollcage is built right , the chances of a 16 year old or older kid getting hurt bad or hurt at all in a bone stock car are very slim. I would like to hear some thoughts of others on this subject.

Hello, Mostly it depends on the "honor" system. Cheaters will eventually be found out. There's no way, short of tearing apart, every car. This isn't NASCAR with unlimited funds, so only the most obvious, will be seen. Maybe some day people will abide by their Honor. Elmer

as a track owner here in south texas we have the same problem. we keep racers on track by checking every week , tires rearends engine displacement ( cylinder volume ) cams ( vaccume at 1500 rpm ) and rely on tattle tail racers also , we demand stock ( if it didn't come on that car it can't be used ) stock suspension as per car with no modification .
i fought the wall and the wall won!!!
