I have a dirt street stock, with a four core aluminum radeator and it always seems to run about 220 what can I do to keep it running cooler.

One thing i did was make duct-work from your nose openings(not always necessary, but a few openings help a great deal) back to the radiator so no air can go around it, the air has to go through it. And a good shroud around the fan to keep it pulling the air helps.

Make sure the shroud is no more then 1/2" from the edge of fan in any direction. If your running staight water, try some wetter water additive (it does not work as well with antifreeze.) Check for bent/smashed fins on radiator. If you use a screen in front of radiator you may need one with larger operings (I like about a 1/2" hole screen.)
