Is there a large need for lead ballasts or custom lead blocks?

I work in a machine shop that specializes in working with lead.  I have been doing research on other markets we could try and get into and saw there might be a need for more companies to supply lead ballasts or custom lead blocks for the racing industry.  I was hoping I could get some feedback on here seeing as I do not know much about race cars and in my search only found a handful of companies that supply lead ballasts for racing.  Any advice or opinions would be greatly appreciated!!
