Well there are a few things you can try. At your local parts store you can find some stuff called headlight renew. Its made to take the fog out of the composite headlight lens on newer cars. I haven't used it on lexan so I can't say it will work but it sure is cheaper than a new one.
My father had a body shop for years and used to buff them out but you have to get the fine 3M compound or it will leave swirl marks. And that could be worse!
A product that I can't live without is the Long Haul Wax and Polish. It was made for truckers (one of my part time jobs). I had went to a trucking trade show and they was giving free samples so I had the crew with me and got 4 bottles! The next week we got to the track an hour early b/c of a time change. So with nothin to do in the parking lot we decided to wax the junk race car on the trailer(lol). For some reason I tried it on the windshield. Wow! That thing looked better than it did when we bought it! It had never been that clear as we bought the car used and a former crew member had cleaned it with a paper towel. Since then I use it on my faceshield on my helmet and on all the lexan( including motorcycle windshields I have a bike shop!)
