79 Camaro frame rails

Hello all,
I am building a 79 z/28 super stock for SGMP raceway, and would like to replace the frame rails. Has any one had any luck with competition engineering formed frame rails? They seem a little thin, .083? What is that, about 14 gauge. Any one build your own? Thanks.  

i made my own frame rails by useing 2x3 box .095, i connected the front and rear frame rails and made it like a perimeter frame car, that is what the cage was welded to, I also put an x-brace under the drivers compartment to add more strength.
