No standard transmissions, no aftermarket transmissions. Automatic only! Must have torque converter.
No problem if your running a Chevrolet, just run a powerglide. 100lbs soaking wet. I was told that a SBF C4 weighs 185lbs and a SBF C6 weighs 150lbs. Does anybody know if this is true? I think I'll have to buy an aftermarket bellhousing for around $350 plus to run a Glide. This is allowed. Not saving me any money when I could have just pick up a used Bert for less money.

yep the bell looks like your best choice. I would look into the valve body and dummy conversion from tci though ! It seems to be the fast setup for "stock auto tran rules"

I ordered a new bellhousing from Summit to run the powerglide on my Ford. I found a powerglide out of street stock with torque for 450.00. By the time it's in my car, it's $1000.00. I guess it's cheaper than a Bert but not a lot! I also purchased a new F-150 to tow it. Ford better thank Mark Martin and all the other Ford racers of Nascar for all the money I spend on Ford products!!! LOL F irst O n R ace D ay!
