I'm building a 79 z/28 for sgmp super stock class. they allow for coil spring conversions, given the choice, what is better for 1/2 mile d shape asphalt oval, progressive banking. Thanks.

The latest work in the coil spring setups have got alot better. The tunability of the coils are much easier and fruitfull. However a GOOD leaf setup up can put the hurt on them. The trend with about all classes has been going to the coils but if you do some research and find that "magic" setup you will be fine. So its just a matter of preference vs price and labor.
