I have a 95 dodge neon & I've been racing for 4 years now and this car is a winning car and up there in points, but this year, I've got something going on somewhere I think in the wiring or with a sensor, but I've went over EVERYTHING front to back as far as the wiring goes, and I've replaced sensors and its still not 'fixed'. The problem is whenever I take off and nail the gas the car misses like crazy and shuts down, then I can restart it and it'll take off again for about 1/4 of a lap then shut down again, when you squeeze the wiring it misses but I've checked and changed it all out, and still have the problem, I've also changed the computer and the map sensor cause someone told me it may be it, and its still doing the same thing. I'm stumped, anyone have anyother ideas???

Try taking the fuel pump out,and check the plastic plumbing. Or just check the presure at the rail. You can hook up a fuel pressure gage and monitor it while you run it up the road or track(depends on your neighbors).

little late. i had a similar problem. Changed the camshaft and crack senors, runs great now.
