Wow this looked like it would be a great forum for racers to get help, but nobody posts anything! This thing could be very helpful if some would just answer a few questions. Circle Track is by far the most informative magazine I have found. They share endless knowledge with us. So how about we return the favor and get this forum rolling. The more posts that get active the more user will join in. And the more of that the more info we get which helps us all. So if you took the time to log on and read this, please simply chime in with a number or say hello. And go out and answer some questions you might have experience with. It will pay off greater in the end.

Yeah, it is slower than I expected. But then again I don't think many know there are forums on the site. I pretty much have a general sense of more or less stock classes. Haven't built many cars, but have done some garage work for an ASA asphalt team a while back and was the pit boss of my sister's team in Minnesota.

Just a big gearhead who was hooked on racing V8s a few years back. I tend to like to dive into complex topics, but you have to remember, there is a lot of terrible information in the world of engine performance!

Knowing the basics of any vehicle is a MUST when seeking optimum performance.

I have been kinda discouraged with the forum because it is slow and also it seems that when you post something nobody responds. I have a Kia that I want to run in the flyin' 4 division at Unity Raceway up here in Maine, next year and am looking for someone who can help me with an initial chassis setup. I've worked on cars most of my life and have had some buddies who ran limiteds and late models over the years who I helped out but I know zero about fwd racing. If anyone could offer any advice I would appreciate it.

Well, doesn't hurt to post. You never know who will help. I will help as much as I can though, go and start a thread up. I will look for it next time I pop into the CT forum.

for your cavalier you built what were the main things to do to make it handle, we run on a 3/8 mile steep banked, would swaybar, control arm, and other bushings make any difference, polyeurathane? thanks! good luck in ze future
