I have a 80 LTD chassis, wissota street, does anyone know what I should do with my stock rear sup? I know the stock angles probably aren't the best and I would like to get the best geometry that i can. I can now run tubed upper front arms so i was thinking of lowering the car and trying to get a better angles more around 10- 15% uphill in my rear bottom arms. Do you think this would be smart?

I ran that chassis and found that by raising the chassis to 8" gave you the best bite off the corners.  That brings youe lower bars up at the front if you have to leave your purches stock. Also the LTD chassis is wider and longer than the metric Chevrolet.  You need more roll, which you get when you raise the chassis up.

It is a great choice of chassis, although the long wheel base would be better if you could run it at 108". Wide is good, long is not good.  The older LTD has a 2x4 square tube that is easily shortened. A super strong frame rail.

Just because the chevy boys like a 5-6" frame height, the Ford chassis works better at 8".  Of course, I'm talking dirt now.  Payvement is a different story.  Dry slick tracks are like pavement.

As far as your front upper a arm geometry, you need to address that with special bolts that fit in your a-arms and spindals that will give you the correct angles.  Bob Bolles will steer you in the right direction.  He's written tons of articles on this subject that pertains to Chevrolet and Ford chassis. Good luck!
