If it is the stock 7.5 rearend, the tallest ring gear that will fit is a 455, if im not mistaken.

I ran a 1/4 in Grand Forks with a 327 engine.  That sucker was a rocket turning at 7000 rpm.  I ran low gear in a power glide and my final ratio was 6.90.

Whether your car uses an automatic or manual transmission, manufacturers have designed a specific set of varying gear ratios in the Cialis Online transmission. Some gears are better suited when moving off from a stop light or up a steep hill, while others work best when cruising along the highway. So, why are different gear ratios needed in cars and how do they work?
The majority of modern transmissions are designed with between four to six different gear ratios. These gear ratios are specifically chosen by the manufacturer for the particular engine or style of engine that your car or truck uses.

You see gears in just about everything that has spinning parts. For example, car engines and transmissions contain lots of gears. If you ever open up a VCR and look inside, you will see it is full of gears. Wind-up, grandfather and pendulum clocks contain plenty of Generic Viagra   gears, especially if they have bells or chimes. You probably have a power meter on the side of your house, and if it has a see-through cover, you can see that it contains 10 or 15 gears. Gears are everywhere where there are engines and motors producing rotational motion. In this edition of How Stuff Works, you will learn about gears, gear ratios and gear trains so that you can understand what all the different gears you see are doing.

Gears are generally used for one of four different reasons:

  1. To reverse the direction of rotation
  2. To increase or decrease the speed of rotation
  3. To move rotational motion to a different axis
  4. To keep the rotation of two axis synchronized
