Ive just started putting together a hobby stock car and hope to be on the track this season. Im looking at driving suits. What is best Nomex or Proban? Like most folks in the sport, this is done on a tight budget.

I drive a dirt late model and will tell you that racing is expensive as you have figured out. The one place you never want to save money is your safety. Nomex is alot better than proban, and CarbonX is better than nomex. My advice is CarbonX underwear and a nomex suit.
