I race a 78 buick skylark in street stock. I want to cut the trunk floor and inner wheel wells out but and wondering since the car is a unibody will it loose its strength. I plan on bracing the frame rails and building a cell mount etc. but am worried that even with bracing it still wont be as strong. I would really appreciate the help no one around here will help its all a big secret

cross brace meaning if your cell mount is centered run a brace from the fenders behind where your wheel well would be to the cell mount and from your cell mount to what would be under the taillights *so that you for an X* if you wanna make it a little more rigid you can tack it to the frame in the four place's you cross i recommend doing that but it will make you car tighter in the corners. \ / [] something like this / \
if you need any thing else contact me. you can e-mail me a RLYRacing@yahoo.com i have quite a bit of experiance in buick's and oldsmobiles..
