what do you do for a setup?
That is a question no one ever seems to answer on any of these forums. I have searched until my fingers were sore trying to find Neon setups but no one ever actually answers.
I know what you mean Neonracer. I tried the otherday to get a idea on a baseline set up for my Fwd Grand Am and no replies to it. A little help would go a long way. Thanks. Mailnan865.
I run an automatic neon, SOHC. I run 215/70 R14 tires, and in 1st gear.Since no one is helping you guys, i can recommend something. In order to get through the corners better, which in a quarter mile track is essential, take your springs off, and cut them down to just two coils. This will not only give you a lower ride height, but also tighten the suspension so its not flexing going into the corner. Hope my help helped! good luck all
We're running a 95 SOHC neon on half mile asphalt . 13" legend tires with rear sway bar . Springs have been cut down and running rear sway bar car sits at 5" and I just can't seem to eliminate the push from center off . We're running high 24 second laps . Any pointers on Freeing the car up ? Thanks
