Hey Racer Dave, Sorry, I cant help with the setup, I am new to this as well. I noticed that you are running a street stock camaro, I am building one right now. Could I possibly get some pictures of where your cage (rear hoop) connects to your frame-rail, as well as the door bar to the sub-frame? Thanks, you can pm these to me. Good luck with your setup, cant wait until I get that far.

He's racing a 3rd gen camaro, its not the same at all for frame mounting points as your 2nd gen.
As for the setup, I can't recommend an exact starting setup. Post what you currently have, and how the car is acting. Are you running the factory rear sway bar?

My brother built the car he said he bought a pre fab cage, it comes with install directions and it was fairly simple to install with a little cutting and welding. i think he said the kit cost 450 bucks. I will ask him this weekend where he got it from if you want. what year mod camaro you building? i will take pics if you still want them.

Hey Cornilsn.
My set up notes are in the car trailer and i dont have access to them right now. i will tell you what i know . yes sway bars are stock 800 lb. spring lf with 1 full spring rubber 1100 lb. spring rf. not sure on rear springs. rf tire pressure 26 psi. rr tire pressure 27 psi. both left tires 15 psi. wedge 2 inches we run good year tires i think they are 10 inch. they are the same tires that late model runs. he likes the car in turns 3+4 but a little loose going in turn one and push in middle loose off turn two. when we adjust for loose off condition car gets tight in turn 4 I am going to try 900 lb. rf. spring and remove lf spring rubber this week end to get the car to roll more. What do you think?

Well, without your entire setup its hard to say, BUT:
-if by wedge you mean tire stagger, then you probably don't have enough. On our short 1/2 mile, I run 2.75. This can contribute to a push. Look at the article on this site about determining the stagger, and run that much stagger, no more or less, before changing anything else. +/- .125 inches is close enough.
-If the car pushes in the middle and is loose off after increasing your stagger, you're probably what is called "tight loose." Fix the tight problem, I bet the loose will go away. I think you may be on the right track with that 900 lb RF. at any rate reducing the front spring split might help.
How much swaybar preload do you have, how much cross-wieght, and what is the front and left wieght percentages?
Fix the stagger first though.

I run a 4th gen Trans am and got rid of the rear sway bar completely.
