Hello everyone,
This is my first post as a new member of the fourm. I have a couple of questions. I own a 79 Camaro leaf spring hobby stock. In order to gain a little more HP I am looking at installing a simple cool can in the fuel line. This would consist of a frozen bottle of water surrounded by a copper coil inside a watertight vessel filled with water. Our air cleaner sits above the hood line. My other idea is to fabricate a hood scoop that will force air directly toward the air filter which is housed in a box attached to the hood. I would like to figure out a way to cool the incoming air below ambient air temperature. Does anyone have any thoughts on these ideas.
