I run a dirt street stock firebird and I have been told that chrysler leaf springs on a camaro/firebird will hook it up better. I have searched the web trying to find articles on this topic but I have found nothing.
Has anybody heard of this and if so does it work?

we use chrysler leaf springs on our 86 camaro and it is fantastic...go to cornwallspeedway.com and look at the semi-pro ranking (michel desjardins #73),we finished the season in third place with a 355ci with rear leaf suspenssion.First and second place had illegle 383ci with rear coil suspenssion.

the chrysler leaf springs fit camaro, firebird, they just have 6.5 inches of arch the camaro has 5 inches of arch they are preferred on dirt but i had great success with them on asphalt, they do hook up a little better as you put it, they also have a small eye for the use of the sliders instead of shackles, this benefits the asphalt guys. landrum sells them all reasonably priced
