I have been having a problem with my timing. I set it were I want it and the next time I check it it is way off. Like I set at 32* and when I check it is at 90* Any suggestions.

either you have the outer ring of your balancer slipping on the elastomer, or the distributor is moving a boatload, i doubt this one tho at ninety degrees the motor would start extremely hard if at all....

Are using a dial type timing light, or is your balancer marked to be timed at 32* when the light is at 0. When your light is set to 32* you should be looking at the 0 mark on your balancer, or if your light is set for 0 you then look at your 32* mark on your balancer. Maybe your just getting confused. It doesnt seem like the engine would run at all at 90* or even fire for that matter.

As you can imagine, timing is critical. I'd check what advent11 says to see if you damper is slipping. 90 degrees timing would make for a bad situation. It might even be worth using a piston stop on #1 and turn your engine back and forth to re-establish zero. After that, make sure your damper is not slipping then use a timing tape (or a dedicated damper) to set it at 32 degrees. The days of timing by ear are over.
