I'm using a three link. I know the heavier spring will carry more weight so would a heavier RR spring help tighten a car thru the corners ?

Using a heavier RR spring will loosen the car if nothing else changes. The heavier spring only carries more load because it creates more load transfer in the rear. It's kinda like the older tight setups where most of the front load ended up on the RF tire.

Through my experiences, increasing the rate of the RR spring will tighten off throttle (entry) and loosen on (throttle (middle and exit).
More load does not always equal more traction, especially on the RR tire.
