I'm building a 78 toyota celica for the local 1/4 mile oval. I have already installed a cage and built the motor and I'm figuring out a lot of stuff as I go but I have some tech questions. Currently my biggest concern is what are the angles on the tranny output and the pinnion supposed to be? Also which is more benificial lowering the motor or moving it back. Any other tips or tricks would be appriciated thanks

if you need to know the angles, my suggestion would be to try a local Toyota dealership or Googling it.

I found the answer at LCEngineering the tranny and engine should be level and the pinion set at 3 degrees up so it levels out under hard exceleration.
