Everyone's heard about Tony Stewart's comments after the Phoenix race, comparing NASCAR to professional wrestling, and his public apology before the Talladega race for those comments, while the NASCAR brass watched in the background.
In the last few years as NASCAR's popularity has grown exponentially, it seems the number of instances where "questionable" cautions and "dubious" penalties called have increased dramatically.
Is Tony Stewart the only driver today who has the brass balls to step up and call NASCAR out on its lapses in judgement? What does it say about the sport when one if its top drivers can make a legitimate public grievance without the risk of retribution from the NASCAR brass?
