How many asphalt tracks are within reasonable driving distance of where you live? How often do you go?

The closest one is Hawkeye Downs at about 55 miles but it is the worst racing I've ever seen. Single file the whole time.

The other one is Iowa Speedway at about 90 miles. haven't been able to get there yet.

There are 3 within 2 hours of driving. The two closes ones are 20 minutes away. There are others farther away than that, but are no more than a four hour drive.

Well let's see... I am pretty fortunate to have the opportunity to have several tracks in my immediate area...  Let's see, New Smyrna Speedway, Volusia Speedway (dirt), Orlando Speedworld, Daytona Raceway (the big one!!!!), and if I go a little further, there are more...

We are surrounded by tracks in my area.

I have South Hampton and Langley which is about an hour and a half away.

To the north, I have Old Dominion which is about 2 hours away.

To the South, I have South Boston which is about 2.5 hours away.

In my hometown, I have Southside Speedway (which I report on each week. Also, the former haunt of Nascar star Denny Hamlin) and Richmond International Raceway.

Yes, I am definately from a racing area.

Northern NY

Spend every saturday at the one close by, go to the farthest one a few times a year.  Have yet to attend the last one.  Opening supposedly July 4th.
