Crate engines are good for local low buck racing, provided, the track mandates Rev limiters, and allows only certified engine builders to open the engines. They may be a good deal with ASA, but I’m sure that the top guys are always on fresh engines, so I don’t think in a national touring series they save that much money, if any.
